Dempsey Wood has been the contractor of choice at Hobsonville Point since 2009.
In fact, some of our team have been working at Hobsonville for so long, they call it their second home.
Our continued ability to deliver high-quality outcomes and our customer-focused approach, has meant that we have been repeatedly retained by both Hobsonville Land Company and AV Jennings.
We have worked on successive stages of this development and what we have achieved is impressive.
Scope of Work
Over 1,000,000m3 bulk earthworks.
Construction of stormwater ponds and installation of drainage and all associated works.
Installation of all utility services including wastewater pump stations, bulk and network water supply reticulation and valve chambers, common services trenching and ducting and streetlights.
Hard landscaping, including retaining walls and swales to Hobsonville Point’s specified design.
Roading, kerb-and-channeling, footpaths, driveways and parking bays.
Upgrade of existing roads, including management of live traffic and other stakeholders such as schools and businesses.
Streetscape works including decorative/architectural concrete elements and finishes, feature kerbing elements, bollards, street furniture and other features to Hobsonville Point’s specified design.
Construction of playgrounds, linear parks, cycle and walkways and other open spaces along with soft landscaping including wetlands creation and planting.
