Project Background
Dempsey Wood successfully completed this project for Auckland Transport ahead of programme and under budget.
Project Overview
The project required extending the existing bus station building by approximately 20m. Works involved drainage and underground services, foundations, structural steelwork, timber framing, glazing panels, roofing, specialist services installation and tactile pavers and asphalt surfacing.
The station remained operational during construction; therefore, Dempsey Wood Traffic came on board to undertake TTM. Our Site Management Team also regularly liaised with Auckland Transport Bus Operations staff to ensure there was no disruption to the public and bus services.
